Established in 1996, and located in Landrum South Carolina, FlackTek offers complete mixing solutions including SpeedMixers, training, technical service, supplies/accessories, and customer support. Our goal is to help provide you with the quality mixing results you’ve been searching for.

Our US-based support team will personally help guide you through the logistics of machine selection and implementation — from initial contact to ordering supplies and billing questions.

Our field team members are located throughout the United States. These local technical experts are readily available to travel on-site to both customer facilities and as well as interested parties. Each person on our team has a strong technical background and has helped solve thousands of customers mixing problems across a variety of industries.

shane greenShane G – Shane brings over 18 years of advanced materials processing experience in multiple industries. Specializing in highly filled epoxy, polyurethane, and silicone, Shane has extensive experience with formulating and handling polyurethanes. Shane Green received a B.S. in Biology from San Diego State University. He started his polymer research and development with Callaway Golf and has held management roles in prototype development, new product introductions, and production scale up. Shane lives in Cardiff by the Sea, CA where he enjoys his family and time spent in and around the ocean.


matt grossMatthew G – Combining his engineering industry experience with an academic background, Matt enjoys providing elegant solutions to mixing and materials problems via the SpeedMixer. Matt started his career as a Materials Science Engineer in the aerospace industry. His speciality was aerospace driven custom formulated adhesives and coatings with a focus on nanotechnology and nano-materials. Applications ranged from highly emissive thermal coatings, custom dielectrics for antenna, electrostatic dissipative surfaces, self-cleaning surfaces, anti-reflective coatings and highly sensitive instrument calibration standards. Some of his best work is captured throughout peer-reviewed scientific articles as well as patent filings. He received his B.S. and M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from Penn State University where he focused on polymer science and nanotechnology for energy applications. Matt lives in Boulder, CO with his family where they enjoy engaging in a variety of outdoor activities.
