Medium – Mix up to 1000g

The medium-sized SpeedMixer product range contains machines capable of mixing batch sizes up to 1000g. This range of SpeedMixers are best suited to be located on our industrial stand that has locking wheels to allow for easy and safe lab-to-lab transport, as well as brings the user interface to an acceptable height for proper sample viewing and preparation. SpeedMixers in this range all have the optional capability for programmable vacuum mixing.

Mix/grind- colloids, fluids, grease, resins, inks, paints, silicones, pastes, oils, creams, gels, emulsions, epoxies, powders, urethanes, liquids and more, in any combination!

The DAC 400-1100 SpeedMixers™ are laboratory-sized instruments for the rapid mixing and grinding of materials that would otherwise require large amounts of time and / or effort to mix and / or grind.

Each DAC 400-1100 series has 20 mixing profiles and 5 optional vacuum profiles that can be digitally set and saved by the user. By selecting pre-optimized mix profiles, one can repeatably and quickly process a huge variety of materials with or without vacuum, all inside a disposable container. The larger weight and volume availability in this range of machines allows users to mix multiple samples at one time or to use unique non-plastic containers for mixing.

For Vacuum SpeedMixing- Vacuum is supplied by an external source such as a small pump or lab connection. The vacuum intensity is controlled by one of the five profiles that are freely set by the user. Mixing under a blanket of nitrogen or other gas can be achieved by connecting the gas of your choice, evacuating the mixing chamber and then venting with that gas. Not every application requires vacuum SpeedMixing to obtain desired results. Contact us to learn if your application may require the vacuum option.

Mixing/dispersing/grinding with and without vacuum- the SpeedMixer saves time, improves sample quality, removes bubbles, reduces exposure time to chemicals and eliminates cleanup!

FAQ: Blade Free Mixing

The SpeedMixer works by the spinning of a high speed mixing arm in one direction while the basket rotates in the opposite direction (thus, the name – Dual Asymmetric Centrifuge). This combination of forces in different planes enables incredibly fast mixing, and yet the precision construction of each machine gives it a balance that allows amazingly quiet operation.  See our SpeedMixer Technology page to learn more.
